Valued for the beauty and authenticity of its hilly landscape, the Luxembourg vineyard belongs to one of the most northern and oldest wine regions in Europe. Located on the hillsides bordering the Moselle which marks the natural border between Luxembourg and Germany, the vineyard enjoys a mild micro-climate influenced by the river and a beautiful South-West exposure. The 1,235 hectares of vines are spread over two regions: the canton of Remich with its deep and rich soils and that of Grevenmacher, with calcareous soils with slow erosion. The first produces generous and fleshy wines while the second is characterized by minerality and finesse.
